POLL: 77% of Americans Blame Trump for Higher Prices
A poll released on Tuesday shows that an overwhelming majority of Americans blame President Trump for increased costs of living.
When asked, “How do you think Donald Trump’s policies have affected the cost of living in your community?” a whopping 77% of respondents said the administration’s policies “Increased the cost of living.” That segment includes 81% of Independents and 55% of Republicans. Respondents also disapproved of the president’s handling of the economy at a 70% clip.
These numbers are not a personal slight against Trump; they are merely an acknowledgement of how he has governed. Average U.S. gas prices were below $3 per gallon before the president started the Iran War. Now, only three states pay less than $4. That financial pain is the direct result of the White House’s decision to fight Israel’s war for them.
