Iran War Cost Already Eclipses $12 Billion
The Iran War is hurting America on numerous fronts. Service members are dying, gas prices are soaring, and voters are facing the disconcerting reality that no matter which party they support, establishment Washington will always serve its globalist masters. Not great for national morale, to say the least.
The conflict is damaging our country in a fourth way, too: it is incredibly expensive.
The U.S. government has spent $12 billion on the Iran War in just over two weeks of fighting, National Economic Council head Kevin Hassett revealed on Sunday. The figure is an increase from the Pentagon’s previous estimate from last week.
Our friends at the Daily Caller published an analysis on Friday of ways our leaders could have spent this $12 billion to help our country. It includes addressing infrastructure, energy, and even military needs. But spending American tax dollars on America is too much to ask, we guess.
